How to change SAS external account password
The following are the steps to change SAS external account password:
FYI: The SAS Spawned Server (sassrv) account is the only external account that need to be updated in SAS via SAS Deployment Manager.
- Open SAS Deployment Manager run as administrator
i.e.

- Click OK
i.e.


- Choose Update Passwords option and click Next
i.e.

- Choose existing configuration directory and click Next
i.e.

- Put FQDN (fully qualified domain name) & sasadm@saspw internal id password of the SAS server and click Next
i.e.

- Put FQDN & SharedServices internal id password of the SAS server and click Next
i.e.

- Choose SAS external id sassrv (SAS Spawned Server: the required user account for the process owner of SAS Stored Process Servers and SAS Pooled Workspace Servers.) and click Next

- Put updated password for the external account sassrv and click Next
i.e.

- Click Start and wait for completion
