How to install & configure Enterprise Miner 15.2

These are the proper steps to install & configure SAS Enterprise Miner 15.2 on the client machine:

Access SAS Enterprise Miner Mid-Tier URL “http://hostname:7980/SASEnterpriseMinerClientDownload/Status” from the instructions.html file located under “<Drive Letter>\SAS\Config\Lev1\Documents”

- Locate the installation files that are used to install the client applications: SAS Software Depot\standalone_installs .
- Copy the following client installation file to the SAS Enterprise Miner web publish directory.

\SAS_Enterprise_Miner_Client_Independent_Installer\15_2\SASEnterpriseMiner152.exe

Note: If you are using the SAS Web Server, the web publish directory is located at SAS_CONFIG/Lev1/Web/WebServer/htdocs. There is a /sas subdirectory that is suitable for SAS installation files that users can download. If you copy the files here, the URL to provide to your users will have this structure:

http://example.com/sas/SASEnterpriseMiner152.exe

Start SAS Management Console and log on as a SAS administrator (for example, sasadm@saspw).

Expand the Configuration Manager and SAS Application Infrastructure nodes.

Right-click the Enterprise Miner node and select Properties. The Enterprise Miner Properties dialog box appears.

i.e.

Click the Settings tab.
- In the selection pane, select Enterprise Miner Clients Download.
- Enter the SAS environment URL that was created during the installation. For more information, see The SAS Environment File (https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/emag/15.2/n14n0n5xmm3fusn1xunn683fv2v7.htm#p0ea0sb76oo4x3n1gl4hjdo48xqk)
- Enter the download URL for the client installation file. The exact location depends on where you copied the installation files in the first step, relative to the web publish directory.
- Click OK after you are finished.

Restart the web application server in order for these changes to take effect.

Now again access SAS Enterprise Miner Mid-Tier URL “http://hostname:7980/SASEnterpriseMinerClientDownload/Status” from the instructions.html file located under “<Drive Letter>\SAS\Config\Lev1\Documents”
